Payday lenders generally do not report to the three main credit reporting bureaus — Equifax, Experian and TransUnion, so taking out one of these loans is unlikely to positively or negatively affect your credit score unless you have trouble with your repayments. Keeping that in mind, sometimes payday lenders send your repayment information to smaller credit reporting agencies, so that information can still be accessed by mainstream banks and lenders.

A 2012 report produced by the Cato Institute found that the cost of the loans is overstated, and that payday lenders offer a product traditional lenders simply refuse to offer. However, the report is based on 40 survey responses collected at a payday storefront location.[43] The report's author, Victor Stango, was on the board of the Consumer Credit Research Foundation (CCRF) until 2015, an organization funded by payday lenders, and received $18,000 in payments from CCRF in 2013.[44]
We can not guarantee that completing an online form will result in your being connected with a lender, being offered a loan product with satisfactory rates or terms, or a loan product of the requested sum or on the desirable terms, or receiving any approval from a lender in the first place. Participating lenders may verify your social security number, driver license number, national ID, or any other state or federal identifications and review your information against national databases to include but not limited to Equifax, Transunion, and Experian to determine credit worthiness, credit standing and/or credit capacity. By submitting your information via our online form on this website, you agree to allow any and all participating lenders to verify your information and check your credit. Cash transfer times and terms may vary from lender to lender. Not all the lenders in our network can provide up to $1,000. The limits and regulations vary from state to state. We remind that short-term loans are not a long term financial solution.

Installment loans differ from payday loans by having longer terms and regular payments. With a payday loan, the entire amount comes due at the end of a set period, usually two weeks to a month. Installment loans have high rates – not as high as payday loans but higher than a personal loan or a credit card. Also, like payday loans, there’s no credit check or collateral required to apply.
Check Into Cash advances range anywhere from $50 to $1,000 depending on your state of residence. The qualifications for our loans are typically less stringent than for conventional loans. In exchange for the cash you need, Check Into Cash charges a small fee. This fee along with the original amount borrowed is typically due on your next day of pay.
Short term payday loans – used for short term working capital purposes, and provided to companies that have bad credit, have multiple cash advances, or present higher risk to the funding companies. Short term cash advance lenders usually have terms that range from 4-6 months for 1st or multiple positions. Along with the shorter terms comes higher rates, with factor rates ranging anywhere from 1.1 to 1.5, with most of these funders providing factor rates on the higher end.

This reinforces the findings of the U.S. Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) study from 2011 which found black and Hispanic families, recent immigrants, and single parents were more likely to use payday loans. In addition, their reasons for using these products were not as suggested by the payday industry for one time expenses, but to meet normal recurring obligations.[15]
